Dubai Museum
A visit to the Dubai Museum is a must do for every tourist.  Housed within the attractively restored Al Fahidi Fort, which was built around 1787 to protect the city from invasion, the museum provides an insight into the city’s rich culture and heritage.

Visiting hours: Saturday - Thursday: 8:30 am to 7:30 pm, Friday: 2:00 pm to 7:30 pm
Price: Adult: AED 3, Children under six: AED 1


Visit the district of Bastakiya as you wander through its enchanting lanes and high towers, taking you on a journey through old Dubai. The cultural area is surrounded by traditional courtyards and wind towers that were used for cooling homes at the time.

Sheikh Saeed’s House
Positined near the sea at the entrance of Dubai Creek Sheikh Saaed’s House allowed the Ruler to observe shipping activities from the balcony.

With tall wind towers and layered rooms built around a courtyard, the architecture pays homage to the old Dubai taking you on a pictorial journey through the city’s past and the Maktoum family.

Jumeirah Mosque
Jumeirah Mosque is one of Dubai’s most beautiful mosques and is a fine example of creativity using modern Islamic architecture.

Built of stone, the mosque features twin minarets and a majestic dome making it one of the major landmarks in the city. The mosque comes to life at night, with its magnificent but subtle lighting.

Visiting hours: every Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday at 10:00 am

Heritage and Diving Villages
Embark on a journey to experience the unique artistry and craftsmanship at the traditional heritage village located on the banks of Dubai Creek. Travel back in time to discover Dubai’s unique culture and heritage history.

Visiting hours: Saturday to Thursday: 8:00am to 10:00 pm. Friday: 8:00 am to 11:00 am and from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Ramadan: 9:00 am to 12:00 midnight

Activities time: 9:00 pm to 12:00 midnight

Dhow Cruise
Cruise down the creek in a traditionally decked wooden dhow as you enjoy a unique dining experience set on the waters of Dubai Creek accompanied with music and live entertainment.

Visiting hours: Boats departs daily at 6:30 pm and return around 10:00 pm

Deira Creek side
Explore modern architecture at the Deira Creek side located in close proximity to the dhow wharf adjacent to the Maktoum Bridge. The unique buildings to look out for include the Etisalat Tower, the Department of Economic Development, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the National Bank of Dubai headquarters and the Dubai Creek Tower.

The Dubai Fountain
The Dubai Fountain is one of the city’s best known attractions and is a must see for every tourist visiting Dubai. Set amidst the Burj Khalifa Lake, the Dubai Fountain is a spectacular featuring a 275m long fountain with five circles and two central arcs. The show is a sight to see, especially at night with the Burj Khalifa as the massive backdrop.

Visiting hours: Saturday to Thursday from 1:00 pm and 1:30 pm and from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm every 30 minutes. Friday from 1:30 pm and  2:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm every 30 minutes.

Dubai Zoo
The Dubai Zoo is one of the city’s most popular family attractions. The zoo is home to a variety of species including the Arabian Wolf, Gordon’s Wildcat and a captive breeding colony of Socotra Cormorants.
